FAQs

Why go to Middle School Camp?

Anyone who’s been will tell you that summer camp is so much fun!

Camp Maranatha is basically a paradise for middle schoolers with all the activities they’ve got (see full list below).

The week will also be a time of forming deep friendships, being mentored by adult leaders, and growing closer to God.

One of our goals as a student ministry is to help students make their faith their own. Middle School Camp takes students out of their normal rhythms and challenges them to take their faith to a new level or start following Jesus!

Will my child be safe?

Yes! We will bring at least one adult volunteer for every seven students, my goal is to have a one-to-five ratio. Plus, Maranatha will have many of their own staff around the camp.

Every adult there, whether staff or volunteer, will have had to clear a background check.

Maranatha has several First Aid certified staff and there will be first aid booths stationed around the camp.

How much will it cost?

There is currently a significant discount! If you register by March 31st the cost is down to $333. It will go back up to $370 April 1st.

There are scholarships available, so don’t let money be the reason you don’t send your child. If you are interested in a scholarship, please contact Pastor Jonas at jpaxson@sb.church
