Mitch Chitwood | Executive Pastor
A 3rd generation Nebraska Christian Church Pastor. His Grandpa, Robert (Bob) Chitwood served at both Capitol City Christian Church in Lincoln, NE, and Brownville Christian Church in Brownville, NE. His father, Mark Chitwood who currently serves as the Senior Pastor at StoneBridge Christian Church. Mitch is passionate about the Christian Church in Nebraska and the surrounding communities. As some Christian Churches have closed their doors, he is energized about the possibility of bringing health and vitality through new structures and systems to bring new life and energy to churches that need partnerships. Mitch has directly overseen construction projects and campus expansions as well as capital campaigns and strategic stewardship initiatives. Along with church partnerships, he currently serves as the Executive Pastor at StoneBridge Christian Church where he leads a large staff team and supports the ministries of StoneBridge Christian Church. Mitch is married to Alyssa, and currently has a large foster family.
MiKE WENIG | CARE Pastor
Mike Wenig has been on our StoneBridge team since January 2022. He comes with a wealth of pastoral experience. He had previous roles including Campus Pastor and overseeing care ministries. At StoneBridge, he oversees several areas including funerals, Grief Share, Divorce Care, Celebrate Recovery, and working with our church partnerships. Mike is a resource for you as you learn more about church partnerships and start working with our StoneBridge team!
